I have decided to work on 2 different blocks throughout the year. Hopefully, by the end of the year I will have enough of each block to put together a quilt. My first block will be a log cabin made with 1-1/2" strips. I am aiming for a quilt like the one depicted here - Log Cabin Love. The second block will be made with 2" strips like the one shown here - Garlic Knots.
The color theme for April is Monarch - orange with black or brown highlights. I don't have a lot of orange in my stash so I will also use this month to catch up on the color theme from March - purple with a dash of yellow.

DeleteThose garlic knots are one of my favourite blocks. Nice log cabin blocks. You have lovely orange fabrics to use this month.
